Houston native and founder of The Enrichery, Sarah Seitz, is providing high school and college students an opportunity to discover their academic and career paths. The Enrichery Summer Internship Program is a 4-week program that matches students with an internship in the field of their choice, and offers them a professional development course designed in collaboration with Vanderbilt University. The students spend their days in the office doing meaningful work, as they work on an industry-specific capstone project to be presented at the close of the program.
The benefit for the students is that they can gain the confidence, direction, and skills needed to succeed in a competitive workplace. The parents also benefit from the thousands of dollars saved on college tuition due to changes in majors (not to mention the added benefit of having the kids occupied for a month in the summer!).
Two programs will be offered: a commuter program in Houston from June 29-July 22, and an all-inclusive experience or commuter option at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN from June 8-July 1. Students interested in the program are encouraged to apply online at www.TheEnrichery.com. Apply early, as space is limited. Deadline to apply is May 1.
The Enrichery is a Houston-based education company enriches the lives of students through tutoring, test prep, college admissions coaching, and the Summer Internship Program.
