Ours was a love affair made at Howard University ca. 1996. Well, not really…we actually didn’t meet until nearly two decades later. We were, however, in the same class, (HU c/o 2000 stand up!) by way of New Orleans (Shantrelle bka A.P. Shantology) and Nigeria (Tony bka The Busy African). As fate or the ancestors would have it, our paths crossed and a couple years later, here we are. We love ideas. We love all the ways that the creation of wealth can empower our communities across the globe. We love Black people. Welcome to our shenanigans. -Shantrelle + Tony (Shoppe Black)
