Racial justice advocacy group, Color for Change, is doing its part to help Black entrepreneurs and brands survive through the COVID-19 pandemic. The organization has recently launched a new digital directory to help consumers discover Black-owned brands under various categories called the Black Business Green Book so consumers can patronize Black business through the holiday season.
“We must do all that we can to help Black-owned small businesses — the economic engines and cultural hubs of our communities — as the devastating effects of COVID-19 and the lack of adequate federal aid continue to threaten their survival,” said Jade Magnus Ogunnaike, senior campaigns director at Color Of Change in a press statement sent to BLACK ENTERPRISE.
