Vans is no stranger to custom creations. Since way back in the day, folks have been putting their own spin on classics like the Old Skool, Slip-On, and Sk8 Hi. Once, that meant doodling on the uppers and soles with a Sharpie. Today, things are a little more sophisticated than that. Not unlike some of its sneaker brethren, the SoCal company has a whole operation devoted to special makeups of its shoes called, fittingly, Vans Customs. No huge surprises thus far, right?
